Saturday Pet Blogger Hop, Plus...The "Mutt-i-Grees" Curriculum!

As we highlighted in yesterday's post, this weekend, starting today, is the North Shore Animal League America's Annual Adoptathon event. Please participate in any way you can!

In the meantime, check out the innovative "Mutt-i-grees Curriculum",  a joint effort of the Pet Savors Foundation (the program development arm of the North Shore Animal League America), Yale University School of the 21st Century and the Cesar Millan Foundation. This pre-school-K-12 curriculum is designed to "link social and emotional learning with humane education",  to eventually achieve "a more humane world where children and adults show empathy, compassion, and responsible decision-making."
We hope you enjoy this video as much as we did.
