We're sure this is a story to warm your hearts this Thanksgiving, and make you grateful for all the faithful dogs you've known. In between chatting with Uncle Harry and nibbling on pre-dinner snacks, take a moment to read this tale of four extreme athletes and the stray dog that wouldn't get left behind.
And as you sit down to a huge dinner and then continue to sit for the rest of the day...keep this clearly in mind: These athletes were in the middle of a 430 mile "adventure race" in the Amazon (are we ready to go yet?), when one noticed a stray dog. So he tossed the hungry-looking pooch one of the canned meatballs he was eating...and, well, the rest will make your holiday.
