We're temporarily suspending our regularly scheduled programming (this week's
Monday Musings) to bring you this important public service announcement! Monday's Musings will return next week at its regularly scheduled time-Monday!
We bet that most of you know from reading Bocci's Beefs that we are longtime members of an amazing pet blogging community called
"BlogPaws", that was formed in late 2009 by three inveterate bloggers and media experts, Yvonne DiVita, Tom Collins and Caroline Golon. Their goal was to bring together pet writers of all kinds with those companies that provide pet products and services...and boy has
BlogPaws been successful! Bocci's Beefs is poised to attend the third BlogPaws conference coming up this month (August 25th-August 27th, 2011) in Tyson Corners Virginia, just outside of D.C. To say that "we can't wait to be there" is the understatement of the year:-). And there's still plenty of time for
you to register!
We are thrilled to announce that Bocci's Beefs, along with nine other pet bloggers, will be sponsored by
Pedigree to attend this conference and help promote Pedigree's upcoming annual dog adoption campaign.
(
Note: We'll be posting details about this amazing campaign and how you can participate next week!)
But in the meantime, we'd like to tell you a bit about this year's conference. Can you say, "Amazing keynote speakers, two-plus days packed with informational sessions conducted by the country's leading experts in pet blogging and other social media and pet adoption and rescue, fun contests and give-a-ways, a Disney movie premier, and more?"
Check out the conference details here:

But the truth is...
BlogPaws is really about so much more than its stellar workshops and speakers-it's about the friendships you make with people who love companion animals, just like you, and who devote so much of their lives trying to help them. That's the
BlogPaws experience, and why Parental Unit and I feel so strongly that there's no replacing meeting these good folks "nose to nose"! So if at all possible, register to attend now:

But if you absolutely can't attend (and even if you can) why not sign up to be a member of the
BlogPaws online community of pet bloggers right here:
