Make Your Puppy's First Year Extraordinary Thanks To Purina And #MyPuppyHood

This post is sponsored by Purina and the BlogPaws Professional Pet Blogger Network. I am being compensated for helping spread the word about Puppyhood.com, but Bocci's Beefs only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers. Nestle Purina is not responsible for the content of this article.

We're super excited to help introduce the new Purina® Puppyhood website, a customized and user-friendly resource for pet parents trying to navigate puppy's first year. Purina's new site has loads of information on everything puppy, from puppy grooming, puppy training, proper puppy nutrition and exercise, to what to expect at each stage of your pup's first year. Did we say puppy!? You can even take a virtual walk with your new pup and learn as you go—there's all kinds of tips included throughout the walk, plus lots of substantive articles, so each visit to #MyPuppyhood is a great learning experience for the new pet parent.

Here's my predecessor, Carson, an eight week old pup, the evening he arrived at his forever home. If Parental Unit had access to a one-stop resource like Purina Puppyhood back then, she's sure a few of Carson's "behavior problems" could have been nipped in the bud.

We think one of the best parts of the Puppyhood site is its Puppy Planner section which gives pet parents-to-be all the resources you'll need to choose the right dog for you and your family. You know that planning and preparing for your new pup's arrival, and deciding which breed or doggie "blend" will be the right fit for your family is of the utmost importance. And this detailed #MyPuppyHood section will help you do just that.

And for those of you considering adoption (Yay!), Puppyhood provides a link right to Petfinder.com and an adoption checklist to help you prepare specifically for a shelter or fostered pup.

Here's yours truly within a few hours of arriving at my new home. Although not a baby, I was still considered a puppy at eight-ten months old.

If you're even thinking of adding a puppy to your family, #MyPuppyHood is a resource you won't want to miss. It's free and easy to register, so there's no reason to wait—you'll even get advice from a different puppy expert each month during live hangouts. You only get once chance to make your new pup's first year a great one, so dive right into puppyhood!

You were such a cutie! It would be easy to spoil such dolls like you and Carson. The Puppyhood site does help pet parents learn how to love and teach their new pups without too much spoiling. It is such a fun site to visit whether you have a little one or not.

My Puppyhood really is a great (and fun!) resource, isn't it? And you're right, Melissa, it's fun to visit whether you have a young pup at home or not!
