A Man And His Dog: A Love Story

We just love the Modern Love column that appears weekly in the Sunday Times, although it usually depresses Parental Unit because of the dearth of happy endings. But a few weeks ago, this charming piece made her laugh and cry. The author, a freelance writer and a college English instructor (sound familiar) tells of his "accidental"adoption of a dog from his local shelter...and how "Danger" became his instant best friend-and savior.
