The creator of this show is Kyla Duffy, a writer, entrepreneur, and dedicated animal rescuer, who retired from professional snowboarding only to take up adult gymnastics, high-flying trapeze and aerial fabric, all the while making sure her rescued pups take regular hikes in the beautiful Colorado Rockies surrounding her home-feel lazy yet?
She's also the founder of Up For Pups, a non-profit that promotes animal rescue and Happy Tails Books, a company that uses the written word to raise awareness and funding for rescues and to encourage adoption. By the way, "Bill" is Kyla's rescued Boston Terrier who survived not only years in a puppy mill, but living for several weeks alone in the woods! Check out this video below to hear Kyla explain how she's using her athletic prowess and creativity to help promote animal rescue.
We hope you all spread the word about this very special show, and if you can't make this Saturday's performance of Don't Kill Bill, see some of the other planned locations here: upforpups.org/events
