Yes, Dogs Understand Humans!

I've been trying to tell ya for years I understand every word you're sayin', Parental Unit!

This information is hot off the press: Dogs really do understand human language. Well, maybe not every word, but...apparently a few scientists in Hungary conducted a study and found that "dogs understand both the meaning of words and the intonation used to speak them." The venerable Washington Post reported these findings a few weeks ago. And this witty blog for The Huffington Post "explains" the implications of this study and lots more.

But we think the real question for humans is whether they understand us. Do you think you understand your canine companion? We'd love to hear what you think!

Mom understands us perfectly! She talks to us all the time and we understand her too. Isn't that the way it's supposed to be♥

Parental Unit spells "W-A-L-K", like I don't know how to spell that! However, I tune her out when she starts singing to me...way too painful to actually listen:-)
