The Wild West And The Nine Lives of "Bo The Wonder Dog"

This recent article from the LA Times definitely ranks at the top of the most amazing dog survival stories we've read. Here's a snapshot: Bo, a herding dog living in rural Wyoming, raids his neighbors chicken coop, neighbor shoots Bo twice ( under Wyoming law, dogs can be killed if they threaten or harm livestock), and then thinking he is dead, proceeds to douse Bo's body with gasoline and set him on fire. Bo gets up, runs in circles and back to his home. His owners, who adopted him the previous year, rushed him to the vet, and after using up many of those nine lives, and over two months of recovery, is pretty much back to normal. "He's still the same sweet dog...If you don't pet him he nudges you. His hair is a lot shorter now," says his owner.

But don't read our synopsis and call it a day, take the time to check out the full article-it's a doozy! Although no criminal charges were filed against the neighbors, we wonder if they paid Bo's vet bills?

Hi Y'all!

Oh that story makes me cringe! No wonder my Human never lets me out of her sight...and NEVER lets me chase anything...not even a squirrel!

Y'all come by now,
