Cat Saves Owner From Diabetic Seizure

Just hours after a 21 pound cat named Pudding was adopted from the Sturgeon, Wisconsin Humane Society and had barely settled in to his new home, he saved the life of his new owner. Shortly after falling asleep, Amy Jung, who had diabetes since childhood, had a diabetic seizure in her sleep. Pudding first attempted to wake up Amy, then scampered to her son's bedroom and pounced on his bed until he woke up and called for help.

According to this piece in the Huffington Post, Pudding is "now officially registered as a therapy animal and has learned to sit at Jung's feet and meow when he senses her blood sugar is low."

Well Pudding has certainly earned his keep, but we can't say the same for Ms. Bella. We fell for her pretty face and sweet disposition and she needn't do anything more.
