Breed Specific Legislation And Lennox

Thanks to our friend, Asta, we just learned about Lennox, a dog in Ireland who, according to reports, has been taken away from his owner and sentenced to death under Ireland's version of breed-specifc laws.
This is a horrendous story, but there still appears to be time to help prevent Lennox's death and perhaps prevent the death of many other dogs like him, if the outcry is large enough to eventually overturn these laws. Please take a moment to visit the PawPawty Blog and read about Lennox and what you can do right now to help-it's as easy as signing an online petition, joining a blog hop, and writing a post on your blog about Lennox.

We'll leave you with this YouTube Video about Lennox.

As always, we appreciate your support!

Thank you for telling people abouts Lennox. My mom gets leaky every time she thinks about him sitting in that jail and maybe never seeing his family again - all cuz of how he looks. It's so very, very wrong. My paws are crossed that Lennox's story has a happy ending.

Yes, that picture of him sitting in what looks like sawdust with feces is heartbreaking. I can't imagine what I would do if that were my dog...

I have heard about this story - it is just awful ...I have signed the petition and will continue to forward it to others. Any idea when they will be making a decision/how much time we have to work with?
