Peace and Love and Ringo Starr

Did you all know that today is Ringo Starr's 70th Birthday! Take a look at this Times article where he talks a bit about what the big "Seven-O" means to him:

What has this got to do with dogs? Well, nothin' much, but the Beatles mean a lot to Parental Unit, so she thought she'd use this opportunity to wish "her favorite Beatle" a Happy Birthday...and peace and love.

Oh, and here's another piece on Ringo celebrating his birthday...with peace and love!

We just saw that on the Brian Williams show!! Pawsome!! He was mom's hero when they started playing. She said she had every possible magazine and album they made back in those days! Lots of love, Holly and mom

We're just so glad he's still around and still jammin'! ( O.K. Parental Unit is the one who's glad...:-)) but whatever makes her happy, you know?

OMG and OMD! PL1 saw the Beatles!!!!! Parental Unit is forever jealous! She'd love to hear all about it sometime! Where did she see the fab four lads from Liverpool? Parental Unit, poor thing, only lives through her books and VHS tapes and their Ed Sullivan appearances. She does have their 1st two original albums, though... And she did see Paul once and nearly trampled some poor folks in her attempts to make it close to the stage towards the end of the show....:-)

Your buddy,
Bocci
