Dogs And Multi-Generational Households: They Just Might Love It!

We love this recent essay from The New York Times that takes us (and a little Westie named Shea) from England to Cairo and back home to Michigan, smack dab in the middle of a multi-generational family with a love of dogs. And Shea is indulged from morning till night!

We think the more attention and interaction a pooch gets with humans, the better. It's strikes me as sad when a dog is home alone all day, waiting for their owner to open that door. We're social creatures, you know...But we also understand how hard it is to work full time and give your dog the attention he or she deserves. After all, we're not paying the rent!

When are ya comin' home, Parental Unit? We've tried to pay your mortgage for ya, but them thar  banks don't accept payment in dog biscuits...

Let us know what you think, and how you balance your work-pet life.

Difficult one as we are sure if people could stay at home with their pets they would. Have a tremendous Thursday.
Best wishes Molly
