Good news from the ASPCA: Their field investigations unit rescued 26 abused and neglected Pit Bulls from an underground dog fighting operation, and less than a year later, the two men responsible were convicted of animal cruelty and sentenced to prison. Tim Rickey, the ASPCA' s Senior Director of Field Investigations and Response, and leader of last February's rescue operation, said it so well: "It's encouraging to start off the year with two successful animal cruelty convictions and send a clear message that animal abuse will not be tolerated." We couldn't agree more.

Hooray!!! I am so happy to hear that the two men were charged and sentenced! Serve them right!!!
Glad to hear there was justice for these poor dogs, now let's hope they find the loving homes that they so deserve.
